We are excited to have a new sound-system and send a heartfelt thanks to the team at Io Meyers for their generous support. We’re also pleased to offer hirers the option of a blacked-out venue with our new venue-wide drapes installed by the exceptionally generous and skilled Stephen Crossley. ReadyMade is made possible by the generosity of many and we deeply value the support that allows us to make the studio affordable and available for the community.

INDEPENDENT DANCE CLASS
Cost: $10 cashJump into the studio this month for Independent Dance Class and take class with the wonderful DirtyFeet Out Of The Studio choreographers, Callum Mooney and Emma Harrison! And don’t miss four-weeks of training coming up with the brilliant Miranda Wheen.
Cost: FreeShared Practice is a regular opportunity to engage in the practice of different professional dance artists. The sessions are a chance to work in a creative, workshop-style format. Each session includes a form of warm-up before moving into improvisation and/or choreographic practices particular to the artist. The sessions are facilitated by established local dance artists and visiting national and international guest artists. Shared practice is open to anyone who is interested in engaging in dance and choreography-based practices. Shared Practice will not run for three weeks in September while we host the DirtyFeet OOTS rehearsals.

Action Theater is a body-based physical theatre improvisation training which expands the individual artists expressive range, builds ensemble awareness, and offers performers a clear, structured form in which to play with abandon. The training builds vocal, verbal and physical performance skills, hones awareness and increases expressiveness!

Where: ReadyMade WorksTouch is intimate. This workshop recognises this intimacy through the reciprocity and invitation of touch. The workshop is an opportunity for professional development as well as an introduction to Body-Mind Centering®’s approach to the inherent intelligence of the moving body. The practice offers a rich palate of experiences for both the beginner and the more experienced participant.
