RMW Moving Ideas Residency 2017


RMW will support seven residencies throughout 2017 offering 10 weeks of free space and a $1,000 honorarium per week. Residencies will be either one- or two-weeks in duration.

The aim of the residency program is to give dance and movement makers time and space to explore and develop new work. The residency is open to professional, emerging and established dancers and movement makers in NSW, however interstate artists can be involved. The $1,000 honorarium is to help cover the cost of the artist/s whilst in the space.

Who could Apply:

  • Professional, emerging or established dancers and dance makers
  • Individuals or Groups of dance & dance makers may apply
  • Residents of NSW, however interstate artists can be involved

RESIDENCY 7: 20–24 November 2017 & 27 October–1 December 2017 (2 weeks)

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday @ 10pm–6pm
& Tuesday @ 12pm–7pm

RMW is dedicated to supporting the ongoing sustainability and vitality of the dance and movement community in Sydney. RMW is keen for artists to experiment and deeply investigate what moves them.
